Reservation & Tasting Policies for Groups of 14 or more

For the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests, we require that visitors to Glenora adhere to these policies:

Appointments for groups of 14-25 are based on availability prior to 3pm. Appointments for groups of 26-55 are based on availability prior to 3pm. All parties of 14 to a maximum of 55 arriving together for tasting require an advance reservation with credit card deposit. Groups 14+ may not "split up" in to smaller groups in order to circumvent this policy. Group tastings include a choice of dry or sweet wines from a predetermined list. A reservation may be cancelled up to 3 days in advance and the deposit will be refunded. Any cancellation within 72 hours of the scheduled tasting or no-shows will forfeit their deposit. The cardholder assumes responsibility for any damages or expenses incurred as the result of the group's visit.

Group tasting appointments may be unavailable during Seneca Lake Wine Trail and certain other events. If you would like to visit with a large group during a wine trail event, please go to senecalakewine.com/trail-events-listing for more information and to purchase event tickets.

On the day of your group tasting appointment, please call when you are on your way, about 10 minutes out. While we will do our best to accommodate you if you are running late, groups arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit both their tasting and deposit. We often have multiple groups scheduled each day, and therefore must have the tasting area cleared and re-set to host the next group. We appreciate your consideration for our other guests.

All members of the tasting party must be at least 21 years of age and present valid identification. We accept United States driver's licenses, US State Issued IDs, Military IDs, NYC ID cards, US Employment Authorization Cards, and Passport Books. Minors under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and only guests whose age has been verified as 21+ may stand at the tasting counter. The entire party will forfeit their tasting and deposit and be asked to leave if a minor attempts to misrepresent their age, or attempts to consume or purchase alcohol.

We are required by law to refuse service to anyone our staff deems to appear visibly intoxicated. If any member or members of your group appear intoxicated, you will forfeit your reservation and deposit, and be asked to leave. No refunds will be provided for groups that are refused service due to intoxication. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the winery. Please leave them in your vehicle. Climbing on the barrels or winery equipment is strictly prohibited. We encourage you to drink responsibly.

For the comfort of all our guests, we maintain a family-friendly atmosphere. Guests stand at the counter during tastings. Please let us know in advance if you require special accommodations. Thank you for reading and understanding our policies, and we look forward to your visit! For any questions or to reserve your group tasting, please call us direct at (607) 243-9504.
