Blaufränkisch
Classic Blau characteristics; earthiness and spice intermingled with cherry and lavender, bright cranberry, and moderate tannins.
Blaufränkisch, aka Lemberger, is a vinifera red that has happily taken root in the Finger Lakes. While akin to Pinot Noir in some ways, it is a more disease resistant variety and can more reliably achieve ripeness in our climate. Our 2024 vintage shows classic Blau characteristics; earthiness and spice intermingled with cherry and lavender, bright cranberry, and moderate tannins. A light touch of French oak barrel gives it notes of vanilla and a warm, toasty finish.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon showcases this
warm vintage that allowed us to create wines of
stunning depth and complexity. Aromas of
blackberry, cussis, anise, and dark chocolate are
framed by gentle oak and vanilla. Generous, but
supple tannins on the palate lead to a warm and
lingering finish.
