Jazz Greats at Glenora has been a summer tradition since 1983, when Maynard Ferguson and Woody Herman kicked off the first concert on the Vineyard Stage. Set overlooking Seneca Lake and surrounded by vineyards, the series brings world-class jazz to Glenora Wine Cellars every year on the third Sunday in July and August.
Over the past 40+ years, legends like Dave Brubeck, Chuck Mangione, Branford Marsalis, Bela Fleck, Spyro Gyra, Chris Botti, Yellowjackets, and many more have graced the stage. From iconic horn sections to smooth contemporary grooves, Jazz Greats at Glenora continues to celebrate the best in jazz with unforgettable summer nights in the Finger Lakes.
Concerts are held on the Vineyard Stage, with plenty of lawn seating. Gates open at 12:00pm, show starts at 2:00pm.
A natural-born showman, Eric Darius has shared the stage with music legends ranging from Prince and Carlos Santana to Mary J. Blige. Known for his electrifying, high-energy performances, Darius is redefining the sound and experience of modern jazz. His fearless artistry breaks boundaries, seamlessly blending jazz with R&B, hip-hop, funk, pop, and beyond—creating a sound that’s as innovative as it is unforgettable.
