Beverage Tasting Institute Names Glenora's Riesling Best in the U.S.
This October, Glenora Wine Cellars' Riesling was awarded the score of 92 by the Beverage Tasting Institute (BTI) in addition the wine was given the accolade of the Best Riesling in the U.S. under $20. Glenora Wine Cellars' Dry Riesling was awarded the score of 91.
Glenora Wine Cellars is one of the largest producers of Riesling in the Finger Lakes Region. "It is fantastic to see that years of experience and hard work crafting fine wines has been recognized by the Beverage Tasting Institute", states Steve DiFrancesco, Winemaker. "We are very proud of the wines we produce at Glenora, however when an objective, respected organization such as BTI gives a wine such a prestigious honor, it is certainly a high note for me personally, as well as the Cellar Team and all the people at Glenora Wine Cellars."
The Beverage Testing Institute was founded in 1981 with the objective of producing fair and impartial wine reviews for consumers. Today, this philosophy still holds true.
