Glenora Wine Cellars Receives Gold Medal
Glenora’s 2006 Dry Riesling received a gold medal in the 2007 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition held in San Diego and Monterey, CA. Glenora’s 2001 Brut and 2005 Meritage were awarded silver medals at the same competition.
Glenora Wine Cellars is celebrating 30 years of fine wine making. Glenora was the first winery on Seneca Lake in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes Wine Country. Today, there is a 30-room inn (Inn at Glenora) and a gourmet restaurant (Veraisons) joining the winery on the 25-acre estate.
About Glenora 2006 Dry Riesling:
Glenora's Riesling grapes are harvested early in the season to capture their crisp fruit flavors. A long, cool fermentation is arrested just shy of bone dry leaving a dry wine balanced with pleasant, fruity, classic Riesling characteristics.
