4 cups water
1 cups sugar
4 each pears*
1 cup Glenora Riesling*
Vanilla Ice Cream*
Preparation:
Peel the pears.
Bring water, Riesling and sugar to a boil in a sauce pot. Add pears and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Remove pears from the liquid, remove core. Serve whole or sliced with vanilla ice cream.
